Race Prizes

For the 2025/26 Arabian Warrior season, there are a number of prize categories and options to win with Arabian Warrior. For full clarity, it is best to check on each race page on launch, but the below information is a general guide for the season.

  • Open Heats – every person who completes any distance Open race will earn a Race Finisher Medal that is collected at the end of the race.
  • League heats – new this season – we have established a League Championship for the UAE Calendar (KSA incoming in future seasons), and League points (and cash and other prizes) are available at all UAE events.  Each event may have unique elements, but the summary is that for (male and female alike), points are awarded for your finishing position – the higher you finish, the more points you get.  At the end of the season (in the RAK event), the season-long champion will be crowned.  See the League page for more details on points, etc
    • Also at league events – there will be Podium medals and cash prizes for the top 3 in each gender
    • We will also provide Age Group Top 3 medals for the 4 age groupings (Under 30 / 30 to 39 / 40 to 49 and over 49)
  • Pro Heats – at some events in the season, we will be partnered with Government agencies who want to attract some of the world’s best OCR athletes.  For these events, cash prizes will be published in advance. NOTE – anyone who takes part in any pro event in the season will not be eligible for the League Season long Championship points nor be able to take Prize money from League events (though they can still run).  This is to allow Arabian Warrior to reward both international and local athletes across the season.
  • Schools and College Championships (UAE) – we are working with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Education to put on championships across the UAE culminating in a final in RAK in April.  The winners in each region will qualify for the championship finals.  A range of prizes will be provided – full details to be announced in due course.
  • Schools Championship (KSA) – we will be running City championships in each of the venues in KSA – Full details to be announced shortly.
